2014年6月に「イスラーム国」の「建国」が宣言されてから、1年以上が経った。この間、アメリカ人やイギリス人、日本人などの人質が殺害され、その映像が公開されて世界中に衝撃を与えたが、ビデオに映った殺害の実行犯、通称「ジハーディー・ジョン」がロンドン出身の元ラッパーL Jinnyではないかとされた報道（後に別の男であることが判明したが）を契機として、「ジハーディー・ラップ」などと総称される「イスラーム主義」的な要素を含んだヒップホップに焦点を当てたメディア報道が、昨年頃から増えてきている。 (さらに…)

本報告は、フランスの社会学者ピエール・ブルデューの界理論を使いながら、日本の商業音楽の界をマッピングすることを試みる。はじめに、ブルデューの界理論の要約を提示し、次にオリコン株式会社のCD売上げデータを元にサンプリングしたアーティストの位置空間についてのマッピングを行う。

これまで同人音楽研究では、メディアやネットワーク、ジャンルの特性といったものについての論述が多く、パフォーマーに関する研究はなされてこなかった。現在のところ、オタク系同人作品の傾向は、男性が女性へ抱く性的なイメージによって作られた作品や、女性向けのやおい系作品の創作が多数を占めている。同人音楽においても青年男性が中心となって創作活動が行われてきた経緯があるが、2000年代以降、女性が主体となった同人音楽活動もみられるようになった。 (さらに…)

1. 音響メディア史の観点からポピュラー音楽を眺める視点を整備したい。つまり、楽曲中心ではなく、社会的・政治的背景との関連からでもない、ポピュラー音楽史の可能性を提示したい。これが当初の企画の意図であった。この企図を実現するために共同討論者と打ち合わせを行うなかで、本ワークショップでは、1955年のポピュラー音楽における音響メディア史に注目することにした。1955年といえば「ロックンロール」が生まれた年だが、この年を音響メディア史の観点から眺めると、どのような風景が浮かびあがってくるだろうか。より具体的に内容を指示するために、当初の企画名「ポピュラー音楽史における「電子音／電気音」の位置づけをめぐって（仮）」から変更させていただく所以である。
